I consider buying ION turntable model TTUSB10. It connects to computer via USB and enable to record vinyl records. It works with audaCity, and I wonder if it will work with Magix Audio Cleaning Lab.
The USB record player has a built-in audio interface with a digital-analog converter. However, this device doesn't function as a full-duplex sound driver, since it's basically only unidirectional. Older versions of Cleaning Lab will try to use the same driver for recording and monitoring. So, your recording will probably come out fine, but you won't hear anything during the process, which can be kind of inconvenient. In version 15, you can configure the program to record from the USB record player while sending the monitoring signal to the output of your regular sound hardware.
I have version 15, 1 day old, and I cannot capture analogue audio via a USB box with this software. Could you please explain how to tell the software. The software sees the box but the meter shows no sound. It works using line in but sound unacceptable and I hear no sound while recording.
