Why would I upgrade Sony Sound Forge 10 to Magix 10?

I'm confused. I see Magix Sound Forge 12. I get a notice using Sony Sound Forge 10 (which I haven't upgraded but got with my Sony Vegas 12 package that I did upgrade) is telling me to upgrade to Magix Sound Forge. So I was about to. And then I see it's telling me to upgrade to Magix Sound Forge.... 10? Is this not an old version?

Hello hojomo,

do you mean SOUND FORGE Audio Studio or SOUND FORGE Pro? Can you add a screenshot of what you get?

The latest version of SOUND FORGE Audio Studio is 12.

Thanks

Tom

There is no Magix SoundForge 10, only 11. Magix SoundForge Audio Studio 12 is the new version, but is NOT pro.

Look at all of this on Magix.com

Magix Sound Forge Pro 11 is at this point, the latest (Windows) Pro version. According to Magix, the 64 bit Sound Forge Pro 12 is in progress.
