Why isn't my sound card recognized?

I am able to record webstreams with my current hardware using other audio software (Roxio), but Magix Audio & Music Lab 2016 premium does not recognize my sound card. When I record using other software, the recording souce I use is "Speakers/Headphones - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC". Why won't the MAGIX software recognize this?

Di you try to set up the WASAPI?

Thanks, I wouldn't have found that without your help. I assumed that the section on "playback options" only applied to material that had already been recorded.
