why is there a hesitation when other players repeat or loop the exported mp3?

I'm using Music Maker 14, and inside the program the range of the loop plays clean. If I export that as an Mp3, other players hesitate between the end of the loop and the repeat of the beginning. This is in all short loop projects I try and create. A glitch, a hiccup, a bump in the playback. The project plays perfect inside the program, then falls apart in other players because of this hesitation. Is there a cure for this?

My set up, is a wn7x64, laptop, Akai EIE interface, keyboard controller. 200GB hd, 12G DDR3 ram.

Hi

. . . . other players hesitate between the end of the loop and the repeat of the beginning . . . .

AFAIK this is because the players are reloading / caching the mp3 before playing again.

I have come across one (older) player that introduced a 2 second pause between tracks - ie it emulated playing audio cd's.

There is nothing you can do about it - assuming of course there is not a short period of silence at the beginning or end of the mp3.

Thanks, although it isn't the answer I was hoping for, I expected something like this was

the cause. Bummer!  I've made several compositions that begin silent and fade at the end and

have no problem with that.. they sound ok. But when you go to great lengths to refine fluid

playing loops and then hear this, pop, or click, or whatever when they repeat, sort of kills the

moment.. I like the lateral thinking motto, I'll press on.. thanks again

It may not be the answer you were looking for because your expectations are unrealistic.  From what you've said the loops work perfectly well.  Loops are designed to work in a music editor - not a media player.

Thanks, I decided to allow them to repeat several times in the program, then export 3 or 4, as a group for

review, so it works out. Maybe I should go to school and set my expectations to a more realistic level.

Pity though, imho.. it would be great to play them in a player and hear the unblemished result. jus sayin

Pressing on...
