why is the sound so scratchy when I come back from hibernate?

when music maker 2016 first loads the sound is fine, but when i come back to laptop after it hibernates the bass on the loops sounds scratchy. Why?

I suspect the sound card has been reset when coming out of hibernation.

Closing MMM and then restarting it should enable it to regain control of the sound card again.

It is best to close all active programs before allowing or putting the computer into hibernation.

Do you power off the computer at the end of the day?
