WHY DOESNT LAUNCH KEY MINI MK2 WORK

I bought the magix music maker 2020 performer edition - why doesnt it work - i managed to get keyboard part too work,,,,,,but no joy with pads - before you state my computers old, no its not im windows 10 and its a gaming computer for my animation work, so i have plenty of power and memory./.........what i need to work is the PADS - but the shortcut key for the device isnt there,,,so i casnt open it up to add loops to it, which is why i bought the performer addition, so that i could use keys and pads, rather than using a mouse to drag and drop........I even asked this question to magix before buying and was told plug and play - guess what its not - i have to say im not impress with this package,,,,,but i have to say i do love the music maker on its own - if i cant get this sorted in next 2 days i expect refund foe the keyboard, been trying for a week to get it too work......whats the point oif having a performer edition if it doesnt perform.

The pads work with the Live Pads and Live Sets feature. They also can be used to trigger drum sounds or to play a low octave on the synths.

Got pads too work, WISH magix told me its seprate and have to download it via store addons - then once installed you have too update your system to get it too work - still took me 3 trys , but got there in the end.

If your expecting it to work with magix music maker like albeton - dont expect much.. When i get synths pads to work, my keys stop working - THINK I WAS HOPING TO MUCH

But on a GREAT note i do love music maker 2020 as standalone - makes my like a lot easyer

So for all you out here - that has a problem getting this pads thing to work - i couldnt find anything - So hope this helps and this is how it went for me

1. Install Magix

2. Install drivers for launch key mini MK2 same as MK and INSTALL your free albeton software- this helps

3. Once eveything is installed look in magix store via the music maker program, think addons and install LIVE

4. Once installed, plug in mini MK and the the ding sound lol, you know conection sound to pc. Then launch Music Maker

If this does not work straight away check settings, audio midi settings - this trully is a play around - my best setting was 1. WASAPI and set it to my pc soundcard - 2. Output and Input device set too mini key board or mini MK2 - ADVICE , novation keyboard has to be plugged into do this......

If this doesnt work then 5

5. go to your updates on pc and check for updates - keep keyboard connected it will find what you ned and update

Once updated and started - remmeber connect keyboard first then start magix MM - click on LIVE on music maker and should woek - if not chaeck your audio midid and click ok and it should work

I really hope this helps people , as youtube lies and so do companys, I dont want to pretend i can play a thousand pads, i just need this for my work that im doing

Have to say though Magix Music Maker as a standalone music software is the best yet and i trully do recomend it to all

GLASSES ON - , ya WASAPI NINJA doenst work - ive explained in another post hoe to get this to work - install update --- NONE of your cvompany says, oops im sorry , you have to download that bit as its part of your free download that you saved - ADONS IN ADDONS once again............Your magix music maker is great - BUT HTERES NO WAY IN HELL YOU SHOULD BE PUTTING THIS KEYBOARD WITH THIS PACKAGE - It does not woprk cvorrectly for 1 thing

1. does not work correctly

2. music maker doesnt work correctly, you have to keep going to settings, to check sound card and click ok to get it to work

3. You cant move the 16 keys to add new layers

4. pads and keys dont work together

5. you can only add layers / music loops to top 8 pads

SHALL I GO ON - I bought this to help with my films and animations, but this does not work, as it say on box and looking further into you and novation

Novation states it doesnt work the same as it does with lite 10

Do not sell this product to make a profit MAGIX - I love your software , but this package is *****

PS i was offered a refund, i grab this in sale, still not worth it - thing is they said i could get a refund, send keyboard back and buy just the software - BUT THEN i was told refund would take 8 weeks -------meaning if i got refund and just bought software after sales it would cost me nearly triple for just software - I DONT THINK SO

PS got ripped of you with editibg software too - i could of bought your creation for sony for video editying for 30 pounds, but i bought yours for 45 pounds - your editing software is horrid - yet you made an amazing one for sony at a less price

As a stand alone your music is fantastic, i have 22 soundpools, but now all of a sudden your asking for 30 pounds max for a licence fee - in 2014 when i bought all soundpools they where free to use as commercialo, but now your adding a commercial sale ----WHY.
