why does the Magix rescue your videotapes6 cause my PC to immediately shut down when it recognises the VHS

I recently purchased the Magix restore your video6, the newest version available. After eventually getting everything set up and downloading the driver, when it finally came to creating the new project thats when it all goes wrong, as soon as it picks up the VCR my PC immediately goes weird on me, with computer jargin and shuts down. Dont know what else to do, very disappointed. Has anyone got any advise regarding this.

Please help!

Hi,

The computer jargon could be helpful in helping identify the problem you are having. What messages are you getting before the computer shuts down. Also it would be really useful to know a little bit more about your system such as the operating system and version (ie. Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP etc) also how much memory (RAM) do you have installed on your system?
