Why does the editor chop off the end of my video without my say?

When I go to add a video to edit, it chops off the end, and I only get the first thirty seconds of the video to work with. How can I fix that?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm not clear on exactly what is going on. By "video editor" are you referring to MEP in the Edit mode or some specific function within MEP?

Also, is this happening to all videos you bring into MEP or just one specific video?

Lastly, what is the format of the video you are pulling into MEP? I've had really bad functionality pulling AVI videos into MEP in the past and I avoid that format like the plague. Is this issue happening with all formats or just one?
