why does my midi export change length when imported into another MMM

Hi, I am using Magix Music maker 2021 64bit.

I'm on win 10, Core i7 10750H, 16Gb Ram.

I have two versions of the the same song I'm composing. I made a midi track in version 1 and want to export it to version 2.

This is not an issue, I export from midi editor in version 1, load up version 2 and import midi within the midi editor. It works, the midi file from version 1 is now in version 2.

However, the midi file that has come from version 1 to version 2 has now been reduced in time and plays at about 120% speed.

Version 1 and 2 both have the same song tempo.

I am at a loss as to how to stop this from happening, or for another way to copy the midi file across from version 1 to version 2 without this happening.

When importing the file to a track ignore the dialog box asking for bpm or tempo of song. It should fit right in.
