Why does Movie Edit Pro 17 HD fail to install?

giving error mesages

"Could not access network location MAGIX_Speed3_burnR_mxcdr_MSI"

"Could not access network location MAGIX_Screenshare"

"Could not access network location MAGIX_Movie_Edit_Pro_17_Plus"

This is a DVD copy.

Is this a downloaded copy or direct from the DVD? The messages you are seeing suggest that your computer cannot find where the install files are located. I don't think MEP needs to "dial home" when installing, at least from the DVD version; it may well be different with the download version.

So, a little more detail about your "source files", please.
