Why does Magix Music Maker 16 delay when I press play or stop?

Whenever I press play or stop in Magix Music Maker 16 it takes about 5 seconds for it to respond.

It works very fast when I have youtube paused, I don't understand why.

can anyone help me get my program running normally?

Using Windows XP SP3, I have also got a tascam US 122L for sound and a midi man 2x2 for MIDI.

I don't belive it is a buffer or latency problem because it still delays even when there is nothing in the arranger.

I have been using Ccleaner and Process explorer to keep my computer running smoothly, there are NO unnecisary applications running in the background.(Except when I opened youtube, after I got bored with trying to figure it out.)

Hi,

Strange problem, do you got enough Hard disk space on computer? do not use e-mail, messenger or other soft when you use Magix.

Did you proper choose your driver? some times latency/buffer can casue delay.

Sound card (name)

Any external device attached to computer such as audio interface(name)
