@Crayyy Try re-scanning the VST paths in the program settings or reset the program settings under the File > Settings menu.

@Crayyy

Hi

Please do not type in all capitals, it is not good forum etiquette and is considered as shouting.

I get the same dialog when using Song Maker and it cannot find a VST instrument that is required.

Check under the Downloads tab to see if there are updates/new Features/Soundpools/VST's pending install - I had several waiting, including the 'missing' instruments.

Check in the Store for new updates/new Features/Soundpools/VST's to download, they will have the download arrow visible when you hover the mouse over them, some require manually installing and will appear under the Downloads tab.

I apologize,, I didn't mean to make it look like shouting, just wanted the message to be seen, also, what does it mean when it says "Chorus" can't be loaded? that is apart of the VST Portion right?

emmrecs wrote on 11/20/2023, 11:04 AM

@Crayyy

"Chorus" is a VST Effect. It seems your project is looking for this specific VST.

Also,,, why does it say my RAM is low of space when I have plenty of space left on my storage?

SP. wrote on 11/20/2023, 2:46 PM

@Crayyy It's a generic error message, dating back to the 32 bit days of Music Maker 2020. Back then the software couldn't use more than 1,4 GB RAM due to the 32 bit limitation of Windows.

When I boot up my computer, I always get an annoying pop-up on the right side of my screen asking me to upgrade the SoundForge program with new features I don't want or need. This is invasive and annoying. How can I stop this?

SP. wrote on 3/15/2024, 8:33 AM

@Carib909 Disable the Magix Update Notifier in the Windows Autostart settings or uninstall the Update Notifier from Windows Apps and Features.

That worked. Thanks.
