Why do I get the pop up box saying 'please enter no more than 5 characters' when I am in an objects properties dialog box?

I'm trying to change the colors of an .ogg object.  The problem is with an  .ogg object called 'Endlessly'  from the soundpool 'ambient' in the 'keys' section.  The problem occurs as soon as I hit the 'ok' button after the properties box is opened regardless of whether or not I have made any changes in the properties box. I have Magix Music maker 15 ver.15.0.1.8 and this is being run with a Windows 7 pro os on a HP computer that uses Intel Core Duo CPU 3.16GHz processors  on a 32 bit system that has 4 gb of RAM.  The settings of the song itself are as follows: 16 tracks, 44 100 hz sample rate, there are 23 objects currently in the arranger and 8 files being used. There are 2 'Endlessly' .ogg objects in the arranger. They are set at different octaves  and the problem mentioned in my question is happeninig to both of these objects. I am able to exit the dialog box without any trouble using the cancel button.  Any help you can give in any fasion will be much appreciated
