ive been exploring the program for a week now and still having trouble accessing (finding really) the beat box 2 program. it says i have and installed it but its not in the synthesizer section of the task pane. what do i do to get it to show up.
First of all as per Magix website:

Then, Note: The program's internal online services and the online update require an Internet connection.
Now, you are right there is a "The BeatBox 2 drum machine" Did you do online update? if not why not try and see. I hope you are not using Windows 8 as per above information that is not supported.
There is a way to find out if BeatBox 2 is installed or not. Open program settings, check the folder path, locate where synthesizers are located open that folder and locate BeatBox 2. If you do not find means your HipHop4 needed update or you did not install fully.
IF you are using a trial or demo version in that case BeatBox 2 might not be available.
