Why can I only hear the left channel of my micro?

I made a song in Music Maker and now I want to add the vocals. I created an audio track (configurated it as a mono track) for the vocals and I use a Rode micro that I connect to my Focusrite 4|4 Scarlett audio interface. I can hear my voice loud and clear, but only via the left channel. When I record the vocals I get the same result: only the left channel is audible. What am I doing wrong?

@Guy-VV

If the MM channel is set to record Mono then this problem is caused by a setting on your Focusrite interface! Did you install the driver software that comes with the unit, as explained in the user manual? I see, from the manual, that installation of the drivers also installs a Control Panel on your PC; have you checked its settings?

Thank you Jeff! Indeed, it was the configuration of the Focusrite...
