Which version of Magix Movie Edit Pro I buy that would eliminate unwanted popping and scratching noise?

I'm thinking of purchasing a version of Magix Movie Edit Pro.  I have considerable GoPro footage with unwanted popping and scratching noise that I want to filter out.  I see on the website that Movie Edit Pro 2013 comes with Video Sound Cleaning Lab.  Would that be the way to go?  Or does Pro 2013 Plus and/or Pro 2013 Premium have equivalent sound cleaning software incorporated?  Thanks!

Hi,

I did not notice that MEP 2013 comes with Video Sound Cleaning Lab but when checking the web site, the basic version does seem to come with Video Sound Cleaning Lab while the Plus and Premium versions come with Photomanager MX Deluxe as part of the promotion.  I see no mention of Video Sound Cleaning Lab for either the Plus or Premium versions wich to me is very strange.  I have tried Photomanager, and there are better photo and video management products out there for example Picassa (which is free).

I do prefer the Premium version of MEP because of some of the other features that it has which would be costly to add later.  You really need to look at the product comparison here http://www.magix.com/int/movie-edit-pro/  and decide if the added features are what you want.

I also think that the inclusion of Video Sound Cleaning Lab in the basic version may have been a error as if you look at the page I just gave you it does not mention it.

I have MEP 18 Premium and purchased Video Sound Cleaning Lab, and it does a pretty good job getting rid of the types of noises you described.  I use it for most of my audio cleaning work but occasionally when I get a video that has severe clipping I need to use another product that is much more complicated to use and requires a fair bit of editing knowledge.
