Where is the Piano?

joncinema wrote on 2/6/2014, 9:53 AM

I got a cinematic version of music maker and cant find the most essential instrument, the piano. Just some fancy string ensambles. I cant even buy one from Livid (or what ever the collection of virtual instruments are called). Actually cant find it anywhere. I only have some fancy string ensambles in the Midi and beatboxes plus the two soundpools.

For me the program is useless without it.

Anyone who can direct me in this, point out a tutorial or advice me on how to get this instrument?  I want to paint the notes and make my own melodies.  I have probably possibilities to get every thinkable instrument, but the piano seems to be nonexistent.

HELP!

Hi,

Which version of MM did you purchase.  I have MM 17 Premium and it included Vita Centurey Keys, Acoustica Grand Piano and Acoustica Classical Piano.  The Vita product is available here:

Not sure if Magix still sells the Acoutica products, but there are definitely piano instruments available, and depending on the version that you have, you may be able to download the instruments by going to "Help" then "Update Program/Upgrade Functions" then "Download Free Synthesizer and Sound Packets".  You will then after some delay be taken to a screen that tells you what you have already downloaded, and what you can still download if you have not allready downloaded it.

Ps. I beleive that this only works if you have registered your software purchas using your Magix account.

First off, almost any Music Maker program can be a "cinematic" version, its all up to you and your talents and abilities...in fact, maybe if you are forced to "stretch" your creative endeavours, you will become even more open to possibilities yet unimagined.  That said, most Magix programs have a free 30 day trial...if you had gone that route you would have seen No Piano and gone elsewhere in your search for a music program to suit your neeeds.  You can also visit the Catooh web site form Magix and view all kinds of ddownloadable music stuff  I'm sure y our isssue will be resolved to your saatisfaction..
