Where is the path location that MM ultimate looks for Vst plug-ins ?

where do I find the location of where MM ultimate looks for it's Vst plug-ins ? I am using win 7 x 64 and wish to sync Blue Cat Patchwork2 ( a universal plug-ins patchbay that may allow me to bridge 3rd party VST plug-ins in some host Daws such as Magix.) Patchwork 2 installation requires that I access MM storage location for Vst-plug-ins in MM ultimate. Does anyone know the location is where " MM ultimate" looks for 3rd party Vst plug-ins ? I upgraded from the free MMaker to MMultimate 2021. it did not realize that the choice for 32 bit vs 64 bit is not determined by the operating system, but rather by the Host application you are using. After I installed, I kept my 64 bit folder,but I deleted my 32 bit folder.

Q. Do I have to uninstall and then re-install my 2021 MM Ultimate upgrade to re-install my new 32bit folder? Will the re-installs create any upcoming issues or problems that I don't realize yet? Do I have any obligation to contact support or any other depts about any new needed re-installs ?

off topic question : Is Revolta 2 usage completely gratis and included from Magix in 'MM ultimate'.

I really like Revolta 2 - Are there any Revolta "catches?" ;such as: recurring ongoing Revolta 2 preset pack purchase upsell requirements etc? What are the possibilities that someone could please send me a link to the Revolta 2 User Manual pdf

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, the program is Music Maker Premium, not Ultimate!

However, you need to be aware that MM 2021 is not designed to run under Win 7; it requires at least Win 8.1.

Assuming you can access this screen, you, the user, tell MM where your VSTs are stored via this screen:

If you do not see the highlighted box for "Add VST plug in path", either you have not fully activated MM Premium, or this is one of the limitations of attempting to run the app under Win 7.

Music Maker 2021 already has a 32 - 64 bit VST-Bridge feature included, so there should be no need for third party bridge software or deletion of your 32 bit VST's - here is an example of mine

In addition to @emmrecs comment:

It also means you have not downloaded and installed all the Extra Content that becomes available when the program is activated, this include the 32 - 64 bit VST Bridge and the VST functions.

Hi,

You do not have to uninstall/reinstall anything and I would advise against it. Just make sure that you activated your Premium serial number and downloaded and installed everything.

VSTs - 64 bit plugins should be under or in folders under:

C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins

32 bit plugins under:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins

For Revolta 2, there is only the chm file available by searching for it or by clicking on the ? in Revolta 2.

As best I can tell, I have 334 patches (presets) in 14 banks. Some of them may be legacy presets no longer available.

Consult the comparison table to see what comes with the free version, Plus and Premium. You get 15 presets with the free version and another 250 approx. with Plus/Premium.

I think your link for 32 bit VSTs should be: C:\Progam Files (x86)\VSTPlugins.
