I find vista is a real pain to find anything. When you click start in windows your profile name should be at the of the start menu, click on it and you should see a folder called downloads in there you should be able to see all downloaded files and everything that was attached to those files. If you can't find it there go into the program itself and just click on everything till you find something related to it. Shy of that it, it's time to email tech support.

Uh...you did not download anything from "our" website. WE are user's of MAGIX products. This is a USER's forum on a MAGIX run website.  MAGIX does not answer questions here, and we do not work for MAGIX (although they should be paying us).

If MM-16 is anything like MM-15 (and I believe it is), you should go to the "program settings" ('Y' key) and click on the Folders tab.  There should be a listing called Soundpools that will give you the location of the folder that contains your Basics folder.

After you verify your soundpools are actually there, you may need to add them to the media pool by using the "Add styles" link on the main arranger screen.

Provided you have downloaded the content packages and installed them you will be able to follow the steps below. If you have not downloaded and installed the sound packages you will not have the created folders. It is pretty much that simple.

In the directions substitute the XX for your version of Music Maker.
These same steps also apply for Music Studio or Samplitude Producer Edition.

A major thanks to all three of you, and especially to Magicbob for your step by step instructions.  All is well!
