I don't own or use Samplitude but I do have Melodyne Editor working in other DAWs like Reaper and Adobe Audition. From experience I know that sometimes Melodyne does not "show up" in either or both of the VST lists in those two programs! On the other hand, it usually works as a plugin when you can access it
However, reading the on-line information about Samplitude I see the mention is of Melodyne Essential, the basic version of the program, and the implication is, I think, that this is a downloaded add-on. So, if this works in Samplitude as it does in many other Magix programs, have you bought and registered Samplitude? If so, have you tried checking under Help>Install extra content (or something similar)? If you are running an unregistered or trial version, it is possible that Melodyne will not be available to you until you decide to buy Samplitude.
Yes, I have Samplitude and have used it for many years. When I upgraded to Pro X 3 Suite, it was advertised as having the Melodyne essentials and Izotope included. Izotope shows up in the VSTs, but not Melodyne. I will keep looking.
Part way down is a section on Melodyne and your DAW. Needless to say, Samplitude is not listed there (!) but I wonder whether any of the information might be useful to you?
Did you download and install the additional content? See under Help, Download instruments and sounds. One of the files is Melodyne_4_essential_160908_12-12_4_0_4_4.exe and it needs to be installed. There is also a serial number code that you received in the email with all of the serial numbers and instructions.
Once installed, if you right-click on an audio object, you should see on the menu "Edit audio file in Melodyne." This will open Melodyne with the audio file.

Hi. I just joined the club. I have the serial number for Melodyne, but when I try to access it in Samplitude, I get the response "couldn't find the Melodyne VST3 plug-in!". The file is nowhere in my computer. I checked under both Celemony and Melodyne. My download was from the disc set. Please dumb down your response for me, I'm an old musician that is just now getting into digital.
Thanks emmrecs! Apparently the disc set did not include a download for Melodyne, but did include the serial number on the outside of the paper sleeve. Out of desperation I went to the Celemony site, looked around a bit, didn't find any immediate link, but after typing "serial number" in their search box, voila!, there it was. You guys are great and I'm looking forward to learning more from you.
