Where did the Samplitude & Sequoia Pro User Forum go...???

Miroslav-SamplitudeForum wrote on 3/26/2021, 1:25 PM

If you are looking for the Pro user forums and you ended up here using the old URL...well, they got moved to here:

https://community.samplitude.com/

Someone forgot to mention it to the users that the Pro user forums were moving...or if they did mention it, I'm sure others, like myself, didn't get that memo. :-D

Considering no one has posted on the Pro user forums for the last day...I guess no one got the memo. ;-)

Had to submit a support ticket to get an answer as to where it went to.
Of course, this place is the US forum...so I hope the rest of the world figures it out.

@Miroslav-SamplitudeForum I don't get it. Was it lost? https://community.samplitude.com/ exists for many years.

Hi Miroslav,

Strange, I used the bookmark in Edge and it opened the Samplitude forum no problem. I have not changed the url to the forum in Edge. Also, there have been posts in the forum, including one by me today.

Maybe something went wrong with your link.

Well...I had this URL for many years now to get to the Pro user forums:

http://support.magix.net/boards/samplitude/index.php

And suddenly as of yesterday, it was bringing me here, and not to: https://community.samplitude.com/

I haven't changed or lost anything...the URL I used up until yesterday just redirected me here.
If you try that link above, you will see what I mean.
AFA the https://community.samplitude.com/ URL being around for a long time...mmm...OK...but I never used it, I always used the other one.

So I do think Magix made some changes in their redirects...and I didn't see any mention of it.
I also notice on the Pro user forum that there has been little activity since yesterday...so I do get the feeling I am not the only one who was getting redirected here all of a sudden.

Well...I changed my bookmarks, so I'm good to go now...I just thought it might be good to post here about it in case some other folks are unexpectedly brought here.

Having just clicked on the Samplitude Forum Bookmark on my computer, the site opened immediately but yes, it appears that the "old" URL is now set to automatically redirect to community.samplitude.com

Well that's the thing...my old URL to the Pro user forum: http://support.magix.net/boards/samplitude/index.php

...is NOT redirecting to [community.samplitude.com] ...instead, as of yesterday, it brings me here, to [magix.info.us]
