Where are the extra Import Folder Links' kept?

After a crash of MEP 2014 I found I'd lost my extra Folder Links from the list under the Import tab. I was left with only the standard five (Computer, Terry, My media, MAGIX Tools, Movie templates). Restoring various backed up versions of videodeluxe.ini didn't recover my seven customised entries. Couldn't find any trace in various other files, nor any relevant registry entry.

Eventually gave up and re-created them individually. But I'm curious. Anyone know where they are kept please?

Hi Terry

In my MEP 2014 they are in the Videodeluxe.ini file - here is an extract for a link I created  to a folder called FindMe

IDC_USER_BUTTON_00100_TEXT=FindLink
IDC_USER_BUTTON_00100_PATH=fs::W:\MAGIX\DVD_BD_Projects\FindMe\
IDC_USER_BUTTON_00100_TOOLBAR=IDC_TOOLBAR_IMPORT

and appears at the end of the [ExplorerV3_Tab0] section

Hi John,

Thanks, I'll get back on the case, as they've vanished again.

There's something seriously wrong, as MEP is now closing unceremoniously when I save a project! I think a large project folder may be corrupted or contain a corrupt file, as it seems implicated in most of these crashes. And, of course, when it crashes like that it doesn't save the INI. I expect that fixing that will fix the folder links too. And I'll be more confident in trouble-shooting now that I know the links are in the INI, thank you!

--------------------

EDIT: Very odd. Those IDC_USER_BUTTON lines are in the INI file, but on loading MEP 2014 the folders still don't show up. However, I've now used my INI backup from a week ago and at least I now have my folder links back. For time being I'll ensure I don't go near that apparently bad project folder. FWIW, it's the one I was using for all that Looney Tune stuff.
