I asked Magix Support re this very issue earlier today, and I've just received this prompt response from Magix:

Thank you for your request.

Customers who have purchased through the special offer to receive a free upgrade to version 12 of Sound Forge Pro will receive an email containing the upgrade information in the next few days.

NOTE: Make sure to also check your spam / junk folder for the upgrade email!

If you are eager to explore SF12 earlier, you could always download SF12 as a trial from Magix's SoundForge product page and then register it with a trial serial number that they'll issue you. The trial is valid for 30 days, so all you'll have to do is to code in the full serial number - once you receive it - on the registration splash page that appears every time you open SF12 trial. So far, SF12 trial seems to be a fully functioning though I haven't tried the two extra iZotope 'elements' plugins - they may need serial numbers in order to work unless they also have their own trial period separate to SF12.

Hi @gbraad,

You will receive an email with all the information. Please be a little more patient.

Everybody who purchased the mentioned offer will get this email this week.

Best regards,
Mathias

Edit: Great to hear you got the email. Have fun and let us know what you think about the new version!

I hoped the interface was altered... but this doesn't bother me that much. What does is the fact that the cheaper Sound Forge Audio Studio 12.5 allows me to have an integrated spectral view... let me show an image of both editors side-by-side...https://imgur.com/bmxsWlk I am wondering why Audio Studio looks more rounded and nicer to look at. From first glance, it is just SF Pro 11 built for 64-bits and some additional VST plugins.

Thanks for the sugestion, but rather not. Those issued trial versions clutter the serial codes that I have under Product Registration. They are useless after the trial period, but remain registered under your account and there is no way to remove or hide them. Note: sure I can use another account, but why should I?
