When sending changes to website, the home page (index) does not update

I am using Xara Web Designer 11 premium on an HP computer with Windows 7 Premium. I upload changes monthly and have not had difficulties until this month. I change the date at the bottom of the website every month. This month, when checking the changes after updating, an old home page came up (January 2017). All other changes to the website had been made. If I went to another page on the website, then back to the home page, the new home page displayed (July 2018). I've tested it on random computers with the same result. Did the fast publish and slow publish without success. JY

Hi

. . . . This month, when checking the changes after updating, an old home page came up (January 2017). All other changes to the website had been made. If I went to another page on the website, then back to the home page, the new home page displayed (July 2018) . . . .

This is your web browser not recognising the page has changed and is displaying the old version which is cached on your computer.

You can use F5 to make the browser do a page refresh, depending on the web browser you may have to do this a couple of times.
