Have installed Music Studio 14 successfully but when I run it get error This version of VirtualPC not supported then it bombs out. I haver never installed any virtualisation on this PC. In fact I also loaded MS14 on my work laptop and that worked fine. I am running Win XP Home SP3

Perhaps there is something running in your computer that automatically starts up when you power up the computer. It could be they are causing some sort of communications error.

If the disc you have worked on one computer, it should work on all, unless there is something in conflict with that computer.

Thanks John, will look for that. Friend also suggested I search for a .msi program that might have installed VirtualPC without me realising. It ceratinly doesn't exist in Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs

I think I may have found the problem but not sure why. The bottleneck appears to be scheduler.exe If I move this out of the bin directory, MS14 gets past that error. Of course I'm also getting the message Insert MS14 CD-ROM in CD Drive and start again. Which is annoying as it is already inserted. Am waiting for UnlockCode from Magix tech support.

On my laptop that works fine, scheduler.exe doesn't even open, so don't know why it does on my Home PC

It was my system which has
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data and also C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Application Data

I let MS14 install to default directories. Also unlock program was trying to install in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MAGIX\SamplitudeMusicStudio14\unlock_mustu2008_del which did not work

I moved it back to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MAGIX\SamplitudeMusicStudio14 and UnlockCode worked.

MS14 now up and running
