I did a video that is quite long. I did try to encode hoping that it will allow me to wrote to more than one dvd. After that I try to cut the video, but the length stay the same.I am stuck.Somewhere I think it still keep it in memory. Pse help
A standard DVD can hold approximately 2 hours of standard DVD video.
If you are trying to burn HD as Blu-ray on to a standard DVD - this is possible but you need a BD player to play the disc - then it will hold approx 30 mins of video
Cutting the video is not enough - you have to delete the part you do not want, make sure the rest of the video starts at the begining of the timeline, and then remove all the blank space left at the end.
Also save the project with a different name so you keep the original.
With the blank space is at the end of the video you set the markers as shown in this image and then select Edit, Edit range, Delete or press Alt + Del
Yes I did cut it and delete the last part saved it under a diffrerent name, I could cut it as short as possible, but swomewhere it remembered the hole scene. Thanks
I am having the same problems you were having. did you find a solution? when i go to burn it it is saying i have 2 hrs and 59 mins of footage when it is only 1 hr 23 mins. i cant find a way to get rid of the rest of it and just burn my actual movie, can anyone help?
