When I try to upload my video from Magix 2014 to YouTube, it doesn't work. Why?

With the Magix programs in the past, I've always been able to hit a button and upload my video to YouTube. Magix 2014 does not let me do that.

And, OF COURSE, when I manually upload the thing to YouTube, the PC sits there for 16 hours, uploading and processing. Unbelievable. I have a new, fast PC.

I'll say THIS for Magix 2014. This is DEFINITELY the most complicated and problem-inducing one I've ever had. With this level of problems I might NOT be attracted to buy another one. I've had this thing for over a week and can't upload a video to YouTube and am having difficulty making a 3D Blu-Ray.

Great program. I'm not frustrated AT ALL.

Hi

. . . . And, OF COURSE, when I manually upload the thing to YouTube, the PC sits there for 16 hours, uploading and processing. Unbelievable. I have a new, fast PC. . . .

This tells me either:

   -   your Internet upload speed is very low - how fast your computer is irrelevant

   -   the video you are uploading is massive - there is a size limit on Youtube see here.

. . . Magix 2014 does not let me do that . . .

Are you getting any error messages?

. . . . am having difficulty making a 3D Blu-Ray . . . .

A seperate issue - what is the problem - please give more details.

John

I did more research and found that, somewhere along the road, Magix posted a patch that worked for me.

There were many things going wrong at once. What the patch fixed, 'cause I have since successfully posted the 3D video, was when I tried to manually upload to YouTube, it was taking over a day to upload, and process, then failed anyway.

I have a fast broad band, brand new ultra notebook that screams around with speed. I guess, whatever that patch included, worked for me and a lot of others.

Thanks.

Still lovin your software, but THIS ONE was a bit difficult. STILL love it.

InfernusMikey,

Likewise, always pleased when a problem gets solved!

What have you produced? Why not post a link to your YouTube please?
