when i record track 1 is recorded on track 2 and so on i have an sound blaster x-fi sound card and have set up it to record just the input selected and it still records what you hear on every track no tack separation

i have no track seperation i have a dell e 520 loaded up with plenty of ram and also have an sound blaster x-fi music maker sound card it worked great on my old magix software but i have up graded to music maker 2014 also have vista OS ive been working on this for many hours please help
