Hi

On the burn menu where you have options to burn DVD, Blu-ray or AVCHD and you select the DVD option, everything should be set to the defaults necessary for your region - assuming the project was set up for PAL or NTSC as required.

You can check which settings and TV standard are being used by following the steps indicated in this image

and setting the correct option in the drop down menu (2) in the image - Standard DVD with the correct TV standard ie PAL or NTSC will give you all the default settings necessary

Hi,

I am not really sure what you are asking.  When you go to the burn tab in MEP it will burn your project to whatever your movie settings are.  So if for example your movie settings wer PAL 25 fps you would not be able to watch that DVD in the US on a standard DVD player.  If that is the case you would need to change you settings to NTSC and 29.97 or 30 fps before you burn it and that should work fine.

If I have missed something, I apologized please provide some more detail and I would be happy to clarify my comments.
