When I burn a disc I seem to get unwanted files on the DVD

After going through the editting process and perfecting what I want to see and hear on the DVD, I then burn a disc and in addition to the completed movie I get all the original uneditted clips on the DVD.  How do I ensure that I only get the movie as seen in the Timeline/Storyboard transferred onto the disc

Hi,

Possibly the program is burning an outdated version of your project that was previously encoded. When you go to the disc-authoring and you start the encoding and burning process, the program might ask you whether it should use previously created DVD image (VOB) files or re-encode. Make sure to tell the program to re-encode everything. That's the only way to make sure you're getting exactly what you have in your timeline. Also, make sure that you're actually picking a standard video DVD to be burned. Other available formats might not produce the result you were looking for (e.g. data disc with video and image files).

I hope this helps.
