What's the difference between MM16, MM16Pre & Samp 11 Prod

OK - So, Music Maker 16, Music Maker 16 Premium and Samplitude 11 Producer.

Does anyone know what the difference is?  I can't find anything on the Magix website for the United States that discloses what's going on.  I assume MM16 is a crippled version of MM16Pre, and Samplitude doesn't give you soundloops, but the look like they basically are the same program.

What gives?

MM16 Premium gives you more samples and a few more synths and editing tools. I chose not to get Premium as the price did not justify the add ons.

Hi,

Samplitude is more oriented music recording, allowing recording of several tracks at the same time. MMM allows only one track recording. If you have a band and wants to record it, Samplitude is the best choice. Functionnalities of Samplitudes seems to be better, but MMM is suffisantly rich for a lot of cases and needs a full study of the documentation to use all the possiblities.

Reliability and stability of Samplitude seems to be better than MMM when you read the forum.

MMM is more dedicated to not playing instrument people who wants to make music with loops, but you can record one instrument or voice at the time.
In MMM you can include video.
