I'm a complete novice to video editing. I would like to ask you guys if there is a free simple video editor that is as user friendly as possible with regards to zooming, and slowing down and speeding up certain fragments within videos.

In short I want to make video presentations for Youtube with an ordinary digital photo camera that has a video function. The zoom function of this camera is no good. So I need a video editor to zoom in and and smoothly on certain fragments. And I want to slow down or speed up certain fragments in the videos.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hi,

Is scarce that a digital camera cannot capture movie, if this your case change your camera soon as you can because to create movie starting with picture and use zoom function is a lot of work to yield something poor. As usual with camera you have a video software also you can use Windows Movie Maker this is Free with your Windows version or can be downloaded from Microsoft website. When you master low end software you can move with Magix Movie Pro 17Plus.

Definitively you need a good camera or new pocket HD camera checl large surface store for summer clearance.
