Hi macca1980, a Serif MVP user by any chance?  I use a number of their products but not MVP!

To answer your question, in my experience the great majority of VirtualDub plug-ins work in MEP and VPX.  One that, in its current and most recent versions, doesn't is NeatVideo (for removing video "noise".)  All the VD plugs I have tried are free (a basic package of them can be downloaded from within the program) but NeatVideo, which has proved invaluable to me on more than one occasion, regrettably is not.  (If I want/need to use it on *.avi footage I simply open that footage in VirtualDub, (also free, of course), "process" it and then open the processed version in MEP/VPX for further editing.)  I am a little "fortunate" that I also still can use an older version of NeatVideo directly in MEP/VPX (so for footage that is not *.avi) but it is not quite so "good" as the latest version.  Why an earlier version should work in MEP and the latest is seen by it as "unsupported" is beyond me.  Both MAGIX and the makers of NeatVideo tend to "blame each other" for this situation!

In addition, some at least of the many plug-ins from NewBlueFX, ProDad, Magic Bullet etc. also work well.

HTH.

Jeff
