What is the URL for my free web space?

The instructions on the Magix site say:

"it is accessible via your domain or via your MAGIX web address http://yourname.magix.net/public. In case you loaded the website in a folder you'll need to enter this with your web address i.e http://yourname.magix.net/public/ordner/index.htm"

I don't know what should be in place of yourname.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

"yourname" is whatever url you used when you set up your account.  So if your url was www.mywebsite.com, "yourname" is "mywebsite".  It is that simple.

Thanks, ganjcarr.

I set up my account using Xara Web designer.  (There is a link in the program.) I did not state any sort of URL then so I fear that I am still at a loss.

Hi Nick,

I too use Xara Web Designer, but in order to publish your web site you really need a domain name or "url" to publish it to.  When you bought Xara Web Designer, you should have had the oppotunity to choose a domain name/url that would be where you post your web site to.
