Im using Magix Video Pro X4, and I have a problem while trying to save after working with the menu and before start burning dvd:

Cannot open file:

C:\ProgramData\Magix\Video_Pro_X4\DVD\LastLayout\\Lt_16094\NoBorderDefault_root.bmp

What kind of file is that and what is the purpose of it. The address or link above must be wrong, where in Magix can I edit this address?

The result is an useless (not compatible) DVD after burning.

HI, It is just a bitmap image file that looks like this.

I use movie edit pro and the path on my system is

C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Movie_Edit_Pro_MX_Premium_Download_Version\DVD\Layout\default

Yours should be similar with the only difference being the application part of the path.

Good Luck,

George

Rune,

From what I understand the file is one of the many many that define buttons for menus. There are multiple variations that give the change in color when you do a mouse over etc. On my system with VPX 2.5 they are all in:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X2\DVD\Layout\default\

The LastLayout folder contains bits used in menus you have edited and should have a file path like:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X2\DVD\LastLayout\Lt_16094\

Do you have a similar path? The double backslash you show is most odd -- is it a typo? If so I'd suggest copying the noborder file from Layout\default to LastLayout\Lt_16094 and see if that fixes things.

Regards,

Carl
