What is the purpose of .HMP and .HM0 files

I bought Audio Cleaning LAB to remove noise from my audio files.  For example, in batch mode I selected 20 music files (tracks from vinyl LP), selected my settings, and cleaned the music files.  Now I have 20 clean music files, one HM0 file, and 20 HMP files.  I can play the music files using media player and they sound fine.  So what are the HM0 and HMP files for?

One response indicates that they define a "project".  I have not yet figured out the significance of "project" in this software.  I think I don't care.  I am not going to put together tracks on a CD (at least no plan to now) or otherwise manipulate the music.  All I want to do is clean some tracks when necessary.

So, do I really need to keep the .HM0 and .HMP files?

Thanks for your help.

I haven't ask MAGIX Support this, but I know in the Music Studio program they have HDP and H0(zero) files.

HDP is the project file itself, meaning It contains the settings that you have made for the project, I think that would be the same as the HMP file you are reffering too... Extrememly important file.

H0 is just the graphic file of the audio... it can be deleted, but its small, I am not sure why you would need to delete it. I think this would be the same as the HM0 file you have mentioned.

Both files are part of the project, where one is the exact project EDL or Edit Decision List and the other is the graphic of the audio.
