What format do I need to burn a DVD to play on a normal DVD player?

I cant burn in high def but would like to burn a dvd in a format that will play on your regular non blue ray dvd player. Any suggestions?

If you want to burn an ordinary DVD with standart resolution, it doesn´t matter what source you choose.

If you want to burn HighDef Material on DVD for example choose as source wmv-hd, and burn it as an AVCHD. It also works on normal DVD-Players (but only a playing time of approx 30 min)
