The VOB-file is the videofile also containing audio. It is automatically made when Burning a DVD. Just go to Burn and follow the instructions, normally you don't need any corrections.

The other files not indicated are control and information files for the DVD player

Just to add to what aseoli said, in the Burn dialog the select the button (1) then form the dropdown list (2) select the appropriate DVD setting for your region/format.  

 

There should be no need to change anything else unless the movie is more than 2 hours long
