Did MEP do this from the initial installation on the new PC or is this a more recent occurrence?

This sounds like there may be an issue with the audio card/chipset drivers and Windows ( version ? ) - check that the audio drivers are up to date and that a Windows update has not replaced them.

Does this occurrence at a change from one video clip to another or mid clip, or where and audio file changes ?

If at a change from one clip to another or audio file change are the clips/audio files the same format?

Does this occur only with the video you refer to in your other post re framerate settings?

It's useless. Nobody provided a fix that's why I copy-pasted it here. :(

Ever since I bought the software. I thought it was Nvidia Shadowplay but I just discovered the clips it produces don't have the beeps and scratches so I'm quite sure it's MEP doing it. 

I've Realtek HD v2.79. It's the latest. The Realtek Audio Manager still works like a charm so I don't think Windows has replaced it. It's also on my Programs list on my Control Panel.

It happens at random times. Re-exporting the clip using MEP again produces files that have the audio anomalies at different, random points in the clips.

What do you mean? Shadowplay produces 22.3 frames per second .mp4 files. I then choose the "video as MPEG-4" option when exporting them. The 22.3 framers per second is a Shadowplay bug BUT even with 29-30 frames per second .mp4 videos, I still notice this audio anomalies (though they don't occur as often).

It occurs with other videos as stated thought not as much. Though yes, it is still distracting with those other videos. :(


IDEA: Could it be K-Lite Codec Pack that's the culprit? http://www.free-codecs.com/k_lite_codec_pack_download.htm But as I said the clips made by Shadowplay are fine. It's when you export the raw clips that you get problems.

That is possible - I have had issues with the K-Lite codecs in the past and now will not install them nor recommend installing them.

So I said "Eff this!" and installed Handbrake again. I convert videos with it and do splicing and other editing stuff with Magix. No more beeping and scratching sounds. 

I think Magix is allergic to the MP4 files Shadowplay produces. Devs should look into this as my friends who use Shadowplay and Sony Vegas Pro don't have this problem. :(

So sorry to necro this post but up until lately, I haven't encountered the problem even without the use of Handbrake. Now though, please listen the scratching sound at the 57-second mark:

What causes that?

If I use Handbrake to first convert the files to MP4 before rendering it in MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2015 Plus, the problem does not occur. Here are the settings I've set in Handbrake:

Incidentally, what is the setting "Level" (encircled in red) for? Is 5.2 better than 4.2?

We need more information about the source video clip - use MediaInfo to analyse the source file that is causing the issue and post the results from the Tree view.

Thanks for the info from MediaInfo, however that looks like the final exported file from MEP you have analysed - is this correct?

If so it is the source file, ie the screen recording that was imported into MEP, we need the info for.
