website maker 3

I purchased website maker 3. tried loading onto my laptop, but the program does'nt support windows7. so I have now loaded it onto my desktop running XP. tried to activate it but say's my activation key is invalid. help please

First of all, Website Maker is an online software, so there are no real versions. Those who have bought WSM 4 see exactly the same as WSM 5 users, and all benefit from new updates. You access it with your browser and all you find on the CD is an application that launches it. Why the activation key is not accepted I can only guess. Maybe it has been used before ...? Did you buy it second hand?
