VPX16 Patch 22.0.1.253 released today Jan. 6

Here are the changes to VPX16. I wasn't able to see the patch changes for Movie Studio, but I suspect that they are the same.

None of the bugs that we have raised have been repaired.

That said, I have had several crashes over the last month or so. Maybe there will be less.

Changes - version 22.0.1.253:

Feature:

- AI smoothing available under video effects

Stability:

- Fixed crash on automatic shutdown after export

- Fixed crash when loading a project with an empty arrangement window

- Fixed crash when removing a CPU-intensive OFX AI effect during playback

- Fixed crash when drawing thumbnails - Fixed crash when scrolling quickly with many elements in the folder

- Fixed crash when importing files with AC3 audio

- Certain HEIC files are no longer imported in black and white

- Various minor stability adjustments

It's great that they added a new feature to the program. it looks like they focused on stability with this update although with my own editing experience the software has been pretty stable. It's unfortunate they didn't address the bug where you move a video clip from the timeline into the Project folder and subsequently move it back to the timeline and the clip shortens to less than a second for some reason.
