VITA instruments in older MMMv17 (2011) not in MMM2018 (v25)?

I have an old version of MMMv17 premium (2011 v17) and just installed MMM 2018 Premium (v25).

Am I right in thinking that Vita in 2018 does not include all of the content from previous versions as it only appear to have a drum kit as standard? Do you have to buy each type of instrument for Vita or has my install missed something?

I can get Vita to include all of the old instruments if I install MMMv17 but this increases the disk storage requirements necessarily. Can I use the old instruments without installing MMM17?

How does the old Vita compare with the new instruments?

Thanks, Nick

OK thanks for your help - yes I have activated. Looking through the information I failed to realize the the VITA instruments are in the presents section of the store along with 3 credits to purchase all three packs for free. Likewise with "Feature Packs" and the 8 free credits to acquire all of them. The choice comes in the instrument section where you only have 8 to select for free....

Problem solved!

@nick-g

Just make surre that you Activate all older versions in the new one. This unlocks the features. You still may have to download and install some things from the Store if not installed, or still installed on your computer. Before using the coupons make sure that you are not using them to purchase something that you already have in an older version but did not activate. I activated everything that I could; I maintain a list of instruments that came with all of the various permutations of MusicMaker and Music Studio and Samplitude Music Studio, so I knew what to look for.
