Vita.dll - The following VST plugin cannot be loaded.

Hey. I just upgraded to 2018 Music Maker Premium from 2017 Premium. Fully updated and so far it's awesome. But for some reason Vita won't work. Everything else is working, other VSTs are working. Custom VSTs are also working. But if I click Vita I get that error.

I still have 2017 on my PC. Could this be an issue?

I had the same problem when I upgraded to 2018 Premium. Eventually I discovered that if I went to Windows Settings - Apps and tried to uninstall MAGIX Content and Soundpools I was presented with a list of soundpools and instruments to uninstall. I could click on Vita 2 and uninstall it. When I next loaded MM and went into Store I was then offered the opportunity to reload the presets and this solved the problem.

@luke22

I had the same problem. I didn't notice the Magix Content and Soundpools until you pointed it out. I did what you said and it goes to a step where you see the full list of content. I uninstalled the Vita 2 and Vita 2 additional content, opened MM and Vita now worked. Go figure! Uninstall something and it shows up as installed.

EDIT: I take that back. Vita opened but I only had the drums. I went to the Store, Presets and downloaded the Plus and Premium presets. However, trying to load Vita using the + for anything that is not the drum, does not work. More investigation necessary, and probably a re-installation.

Thanks,

John CB

I have a similar problem, in that the instruments in VITA will load, and play, but when I load a project file where i have already saved tracks using VITA instruments, it won't load those tracks (even though it will still play the instruements).
