Vinyl recording

Hello, folks...Windows 10 Home 64-bit is my PC's operating system. I am attempting to use the Vinyl Recording & Restoration function in Sound Forge Audio Studio 15 to digitize audio from my record albums, but so far I am unable to get Sound Forge to detect the audio signal from my records. My turntable is an ION TTUSB10 with a USB connection to my computer. I'm just looking for suggestions as to which options I should choose from the Options > Preferences > Audio > Audio Device Type menu to get this task done. Thank you for your attention! LOREN

Yes, "Options > Preferences > Audio > Audio Device Type"
Select your USB turntable in the Record tab.

Save the recording in a PCM format, (typically 44.1kHz/16 bit stereo .wav) for editing, restoration and such to maintain quality. An end-user MP3, AAC or other lossy file type can be encoded from that.

btw, welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users forum @Loren-Spain.
