Flash in Chrome has been effectively blocked since Dec 2016, however, in addition to this, there is also an additional issue in that the Flash based site will not be viewable on most mobile devices due to lack of Flash support on those devices.
If your version of Web Designer supports outputting a HTML 5 compliant web site then use this and the appropriate login widget which does not depend on Flash.
I have been using website maker deluxe for almost 10 years. There is a flash plug in for Chrome. Other browsers offer flash support. I recommend Puffin for ipad and android devices. Puffin have also introduced a PC version. I am trying to find out what happens if flash is discontinued in 2020? Do Magix have a solution?
The real issue is that Flash has been deprecated as a means of delivering, and as a format for, video on web sites.
The HTML 5 standard has a different means of delivering video, in mp4 format for maximum device compatibility - all modern browsers support HTML 5 and mp4 video natively.
Website Maker is Flash based and does not support HTML 5, and you are reliant on the visitor knowing they need Flash installing, if they cannot view your site without installing an add on or a different browser or you don’t capture their attention in less than a minute, they will move on.
For maximum compatibility and future developments in HTML you should consider changing to Xara Web Designer Premium, however you will have to start your site from new - you cannot import the old one.
