1. Magix Video deluxe 17 plus

2. Computer HP 860-000nd Desktop LK2479E

Windows 10 Home original (no upgrade), version 1607

Processor Intel(R Core(TM) i7-6700k CPU@ 4,00 GHz 4,00 GHz

Installed RAM-Memory: 8,00 GB

System-type: 64-bits operating system, x-64-processor

Not yet upgrade to Anniversery.

Problem always started when I do not use the program Magix Video deluxe 17 plus for more than 4 weeks. Asking for a verification-code. Everytime I returned from my holidays, i like to mount my video-films. But everytime it says: the function of MPEG 4 Basic has to be activate first. When I tried to activate online or offline, it says: wrong. What to do?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi

. . . .  Magix Video deluxe 17 plus . . . . Windows 10 Home original (no upgrade), version 1607 . . .

Movie Edit Pro 17 (MEP 17) (VideoDeluxe 17)  is not compatible with Windows 10 and requires to be run as an administrator on the computer.

You can change the MEP 17 shortcut to open the program to always run as administrator however you will always have to acknowledge an additional dialog when starting the program.

To change the program shortcut right click it and select Properties

Select the Advanced button as shown in the image below

Check the Run as administrator option as shown in the image above and click OK then Apply.

A dialog will popup as shown below - click Continue.

You can now run the program and the mp4 activation should be fixed.

Note: you may have other issues with MEP 17 and Windows 10 due to the incompatability - eg not being able to burn discs because the burner is not recognised.

You should upgrade to a Windows 10 compatible version of MEP.
