Video saver

I have tried to get the video over from my VHS to my PC. I see the film and hear the audio and everything, BUT it just wont record to my computer. When i press the rec button NOTHING happens! What am i doing wrong?

Are you using windows? What version? What software do you use to import your video?

I use windows XP, and "Videosaver" from Magix, the last version. I have done exactly what i 'm told to do and everything is working find, exept that it wont record to the pc. I use a scart cable, and three "pins" one is red, and a yellow.
