Video Pro X 2.5

When previewing my DV video, the audio severly glitches. When I record the particular scene and play that back, the glitching is mostly gone although there are 'pops' now recorded onto the audio track in several places. I'm using Windows 7 and have plenty of resources that this shouldn't be happening. I also increased the audio buffer sizes but I get the same problem. The sample size is 48khz. The Dell computer is an ACPIx 64 based computer and the processor is Intel 2.8 gig with 12 gigs of memory.

Everything else in Pro X2.5 works great.

Thanks,

Steve Epstein

Hi,

Are the audio glitches that you hear coming from a audio track recorded by your video camera, an external audio recorder our a sound track that you have added to your production?  If it is the video camera what make and model are you using, if it an external audio recorder, make and model please, and if it is a music sound track what file format is it.

Thank you ,

George
