Video playback problem with Mx Deluxe 2014

wienig1 wrote on 1/17/2016, 10:05 AM

Ok. I rephase my question.. I keep loosing the possibility of viewing the picture of my project on the monitor while the sound is ok. I found the way to bring  the picture viewing back by pressing the red button for  Audio or Video Recordig. So  I am happy enough for now but why it happens?!  I never experienced it when using MX Photostory or/and Mx Video Easy products??? And there must be a simpler way to bring the picture  back.

Why in the product selection list below there is not Mx Video Deluxe 2014 product? So I picked up Movie Edit Pro. Is that correct?

Hi

. . . . Video Deluxe 2014 product? So I picked up Movie Edit Pro. Is that correct? . . . .

That is correct - Movie Edit Pro is Video Deluxe depending on country it is being marketed in.

Do you mean the video stutters during playback of the timeline?

What is your computer specification, please be specific,  and Windows version?

What format video do you have on the timeline and what is its resolution ie Standard definition - 720 * 576 or 720 * 480 , HD - 1240 * 720 or Full HD - 1920 * 1080 ?

Thanks.

I run the Video Deluxe 2014 on Lenovo laptop with Intel Core i3-2330M CPU 2.30 GHz and 4.00 GB and Windows 10. I use HD format 1920x1080. I mean the lack of picture on the monitor when I start the playback of my project  timeline :-( ...

Hi

The laptop is not powerful enough to render in real time for the preview monitor and will jerk / stutter / pause as a result.

To get smooth playback you can pre-render the timeline using this button

Note - this may take some time depending on how complicated the timeline is and if you make an edit after rendering you may have to re-render again.

Thx John E.Baker!

I tried those rendering buttons but it didn't help me.. I am editing the Photostory 2016 Deluxe  slideshow HD film trying to add some motion pictures to it. I loose the picture wheneve I make a longer break in editing the project.  I am using standard effects so project timeline is quite simple.

By the way John EB, I never observed on the monitor any jerks and/or stutter. The video playback is smooth in full screen as well !!! WN.
