Video not playing, encoding problem

no-thanks wrote on 12/11/2022, 1:00 PM

The exported avi doesn't play in any regular player at all.

When I import it into Movavi Video Editor, it loads, but it's all green.

I don't want a green video, and I don't want to import it into another program to make it play.

Please advise.

Windows 11, up-to-date, no problems with other videos whatsoever.

@no-thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

We need more information:

Does the source video play OK in Music Maker?

Is the source video on track 1 of the Music Maker timeline?

Did you change any of the settings in the AVI export dialog?

Download and install MediaInfo and analyse one of the clips and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse the exported AVI clip for all the data required.

John, thank you for the quick response. I was just offered a 1GB update, and it's not working. I did not put it as track 1, but it still works now.
